Are you a recent graduate or currently completing your Bachelor’s or Master’s studies or someone with a few years of relevant experience, and excited to develop your skills in HR data, HR systems and digital HR operations in an international environment?
We are now looking for a Trainee / (Junior) Specialist, HR Technology to temporarily substitute the duties of our HR Specialist during parental leave. The position can be based in our Espoo or Oulu offices, with the option to work remotely as well.
What you’ll do
As part of our HR team, you will support the utilization of HR technologies and contribute to global HR projects. Your main responsibilities include:
Acting as the main user of iLOQ’s HR system (Bob) and other key HR tools (e.g., incentive management, learning, internal communications).
Supporting personnel and leaders in utilizing HR systems effectively.
Participating in the modernization of HR solutions and digital ways of working, including new systems and AI initiatives.
Ensuring accurate HR data and contributing to HR reporting and analytics.
Coordinating and supporting the creation of training and learning materials (tools, software, processes, products).
Supporting internal communications, including content creation for SharePoint.
You may also contribute according to your own strengths and interests, for example:
Supporting the Social aspects of iLOQ’s sustainability strategy.
Assisting with HR compliance, such as policy development.
Supporting culture and other HR strategy initiatives.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a proactive team player with a passion for HR technology. We hope you already have:
Basic understanding of HR practices (e.g employee lifecycle, learning, reporting).
Some experience with HR systems or other organizational software (HRIS, LMS, CRM, ERP, payroll, time-tracking) is seen as advantage.
Relevant studies (e.g., Business Information Systems, Information Management, Business Analytics, Digitalization, HR).
Strong interest in HR information systems and digital HR transformation.
Demonstrated technological skills and a hands-on mindset.
Good MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data handling).
Problem‑solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
Clear communication skills, flexibility and the ability to collaborate across functions.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
