If your answer is yes, we are now looking for a Legal Counsel to join iLOQ.

This recruitment is carried out in collaboration with our partner Minjon, and applications are submitted through Minjon’s recruitment system.

What you’ll do:

As a Legal Counsel you will support iLOQ’s business operations with your legal expertise. You will actively partner directly with the business and other functions, helping them to unlock opportunities and manage risks. Strong execution is important in this role and the ability for strategic thinking enables your development and long-term success in the company. A proactive and pragmatic approach to support the varied legal needs of a fast-growing company is your natural way of working.

In your day-to-day role, you will negotiate, draft and review different types of business agreements, such as sales, procurement and other commercial agreements. You will provide advice and consultation across various areas of law, such as data protection and intellectual property and when necessary, collaborate with iLOQ’s network of external lawyers. You will also develop and oversee internal legal policies and educate your colleagues on legal topics.

You will work closely with and report directly to the General Counsel. The primary workplace is iLOQ’s Espoo office, and we offer a flexible remote work policy.

What you'll bring:

You could be the one we are looking for if you:

• have a master’s degree in law with six to twelve years of relevant post-graduate working experience preferably from a law firm or an in-house legal department;

• have solid experience in multinational commercial contracting. Experience in data protection and/or IPR matters is considered an advantage;

• take ownership, make decisive decisions, and thrive in a proactive, responsibility-driven and entrepreneurial environment;

• are open to new technological solutions and naturally embrace the opportunities offered by AI; and

• have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in both written and oral English and Finnish is required and other language skills, particularly Swedish, German, French and Spanish, are appreciated.
