As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a key role in iLOQ’s rapid expansion across North America. Our disruptive technology is generating high demand, and you will be responsible for supporting our customers and sales force across multiple industry verticals, managing our complete portfolio of sustainable locking and access management systems, electromechanical locks, cylinders, and digital locking solutions.
You will also serve as the technical project lead for key accounts, ensuring installations are executed in accordance with manufacturer specifications while coordinating timelines, deliverables, and communication across all stakeholders.
This is a remote position, with up to 50% annual travel expected.
What you'll do
In this role you will:
Provide product and software training for U.S. and Canadian sales teams, channel partners, and end-users/customers.
Develop and maintain training materials, documentation, and deployment processes.
Coordinate information sharing with iLOQ Technical Managers in other regions.
Provide on-site and remote project management support while keeping stakeholders regularly informed of project status.
Provide technical sales support and collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Services.
Support channel partners, drive customer satisfaction, and stay current on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
Plan and oversee technical projects from kickoff through deployment, closeout, and customer handoff.
Track schedules, milestones, risks, issues, and escalation items, and provide regular status reporting.
Support installers, integrators, and channel partners during rollout, programming, commissioning, and go-live.
Validate that installations and project deliverables meet iLOQ standards, quality requirements, and best practices.
Serve as the escalation point for complex field and project issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams.
Capture customer, installer, and partner feedback and translate it into structured input for Product Management and R&D.
Support evaluation, coordination, and deployment readiness of key software integrations relevant to North American verticals.
Maintain accurate project, support, and training documentation, including lessons learned and improvement actions.
Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to support project planning, deployment readiness, and solution fit.
What you'll bring
We believe that the best match for this role has following qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years in a technical training role within a similar product sector (EAC, door entry, locks, access control, smart locks, etc.).
Technical degree preferred but not required.
Strong project management skills with experience working across divisions and internationally, including with outsourced integration engineering firms.
Robust understanding of modern mobile technologies, digitalization trends, and electromechanical digital solutions.
Strong IT aptitude, including familiarity with APIs and software integrations.
Preferred experience in product management, R&D, or sales.
Experience supporting channel sales and diverse customer segments is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written).
A structured mindset with strong attention to detail.
A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and global offices.
Analytical skills with an affinity for complex problem-solving and time management.
Self-sufficient, organized, and pragmatic—you take initiative and get things done.
