What you’ll do
In this role you will:
Manage daily transportation (air, sea, road, rail), customs procedures, forwarding, duties/taxes to ensure smooth global logistics operations
Collaborate with forwarders and other third parties in different matters
Ensure end-to-end import/export trade compliance: support new market requirements, customs code classification, incoterms, documentation accuracy, duty reduction opportunities or duty recovery, and ongoing regulatory monitoring
Guide and support iLOQ teams, countries and customers, acting as a subject matter expert in logistics and trade compliance
Manage dangerous goods (DG) compliance and train internal stakeholders
Ownership of nShift Delivery shipping platform
Drive and contribute in development projects that improve cost efficiency, delivery speed, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across the order-to-ship process
Continuously improving processes, compliance policies, training, and risk mitigation
Create and manage work instructions, process descriptions and training materials
Assist in LSP (logistics service provider) management tasks.
What you'll bring
We believe that an ideal candidate for this role has:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, international business, or a related field
3+ years work experience in international logistics, transportation and forwarding activities
Experience with dangerous goods; IATA/ADR DGR knowledge or certification is a plus
Working knowledge of customs & trade compliance topics (customs code classification, certificates of origin, free trade agreements, export control basics, sanctions screening, export licensing, dual use)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders across all organizational levels
Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver on deadlines
Demonstrated follow-through and commitment to high-quality work
A reliable team player who can also work independently and perform well under pressure
Experienced in ERP order management, Excel/Power BI skills are an advantage, and TMS experience is beneficial
Advanced written, verbal communication and presentation skills in English, other languages are seen as advantage.
